The attack took place in the early hours of Sunday as the students were taken unawares. Some of them were said to have scampered into the nearby bush but were chased, caught and killed. How sad!
The unfortunate incident which took place at just 50 kilometers from Damaturu, the state capital, has thrown Nigeria's security leadership in confusion as no one could explain the reason for intelligence failure.
A security source told Papawarri that this is not the first time Boko Haram was attacking a school and killing students like chicken. Another 50 families thrown into mourning.
Please, what is the sincere way out of this mess?
